Zygg Rent-to-Own. What’s next?

There are 3 more quick steps in Zygg’s Rent-to-Own program, and then we’ll get you riding.

  1. Sign the Liability Waiver (because you’re renting).

  2. Upload your ID (with a local address if you’re renting for more than 6 months)

  3. Check your email for a link to our Rent-to-Own Agreement, a copy of which you will need to sign after you start your Rent-to-Own program.

Once we have this information, we’ll contact you to arrange pick-up or delivery of your ebike.

1. Sign the Waiver

The waiver is an agreement to release Zygg from any liability claims that may arise from your use of the ebike.

 

2. Upload Photo ID & Proof of Address

If you are Renting for 12 months or longer, you will need to upload Canadian ID and proof of your current address.

Accepted photo identifications:

  • Canadian Drivers License
  • Provincial ID Card
  • Canadian Passport
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Canadian Citizenship Card
  • Canadian Drivers License
  • Ontario Health Card

If you are Renting for 6 months,

  • you may upload an International Passport as ID, and proof of your current address.

For all Rentals, if your ID does NOT have your current address you will need to upload from this list of Accepted Proofs of Address

  • Utility bill (Gas/ Hydro/ Internet monthly statement)
  • Bank statement (monthly PDF or paper copy)
  • Phone bill (monthly statement)
  • Pay Stub
  • Recent income tax Notice of Assessment
  • Home Insurance Policy
  • SIN Card

The following are NOT accepted as valid proof of address:

  • Lease agreements
  • Online banking profile
  • Delivery receipts from online purchases (Amazon, Uber etc.)

 

3. Sign the Rent-to-Own agreement (check your email)

  • We have sent you an email with a link to the Zygg Rent-to-Own agreement. Please sign the agreement online (via Pandadoc). You will get a copy sent to you afterwards.

Your ebike is almost ready

  • We need all of this info before your ebike will be ready for you.
  • After we get these documents, you'll receive an email or text from our team to schedule a time to get your bike.
  • Please give us a day to process your info.
  • If you dont hear back from us within 1 business day, you can follow-up via support@ridezygg.com
