According to the Vancouver Economic Commission’s 2020 Impact Report the city has regained the title of “Hollywood North” (over Toronto!) by once again becoming the 3rd largest film & tv production centre in North America. The sector employed over 25,000 local workers, and tabled 3.4 billion dollars on industry production spending in that year alone.
Marquee film productions in the region include Deadpool & Deadpool 2, Okja, Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn, and War of the Planet of the Apes.
And tv hits like The Flash, The Good Doctor, Riverdale, Supernatural, and X-Files.
The features which attract film production are also appealing for bike-commuters, pleasure cyclists and tourists alike. Why not combine the two with a bike tour of memorable on-screen locales.
