The Model G is Now Available for Bike Delivery
Since we opened up our electric bike subscription service to delivery riders too, we’ve had over 100 commercial subscribers! We initially launched with the Model V available for delivery riders, but as the popularity of our service increased we included the Model M - and now we are excited to be able to offer the model G as well.
Bike Delivery Supporting Us through COVID
It has been important for Zygg in our first year to be able to offer ebikes to delivery riders 8especially during these difficult times when so many of us have come to rely on home delivery. The electric bikes have been pivotal in helping support restaurants during these unprecedented times and deliver meals on bikes through UberEats, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash and others.
What is the Model G E-Bike Like?
The Model G has a longer range than our Models M & V, allowing you to do more trips and earn more money before having to recharge. The Model G is a step through with a low frame making it easy to get on and off. It has a maximum range between 140-170 km and you can remove the battery easy charging. It has 8 gears and a display on the handlebars which shows information such as your speed, distance traveled and how far you can go on the amount of battery charge you have. It has a rear rack to which you can add panniers as well. All Model Gs have a rear frame lock and plug in chain system for security.
The Model G is great for carrying around your deliveries, making Toronto easily accessible despite hills or distance, so you can take on as many orders as you want.
How much does the Model G E-Bike Cost?
You can get the Model G starting at $99/month on our Yearly Plan or choose the Seasonal Winter Plan which is at $99/month with a minimum 3 month commitment. Or you can commit to one month at a time if that works better for you, for $149 this winter (available between December 2020 to March 2021).
All our Commercial Delivery plans have unlimited kilometres and you can reduce your Liability Limit (in case of theft or damage, battery excluded) from $750 to $150 with a $25/month payment.
